About

„If I have ever seen magic, it has been in Africa.“

Since I have lost my heart to Africa in 1996, I am travelling through the continent’s southern parts – always feeling home as soon as I touch base.

The wildebeest migration in Kenia, the gorillas in Uganda, the deserts of Namibia or the leopards of South Africa, each set-up is unique and each season gives the landscape a different touch, all with their very own magic spell. I fell in love with people, landscape and animals.

I breathe the air, smell the dust and listen. Recognizing my senses, feeling like a child exploring an unknown world, let my emotions guide me.

The pristine African wilderness teaches us the wonders of nature. For me, nature has become school of life – and I bow in pure humility.

Once you experience this, you get an idea of the importance of conserving and of protecting these last pieces of the garden of eden. My photography is a tribute to this
perfect design and I deeply enjoy to share my pure bliss.

„Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.“
